Desperately Seeking The Perfect Mother’s Day Gift?

Deb Canham artist bears are virtually all designed by Deb herself and hand-made by Deb’s team of Chinese ladies who she taught to sew teddy bears and animals 15 years ago.  They start at just 3 centimetres and are all made with such attention to detail that they are truly remarkable.  Deb’s collections also include wonderful dragons, tiny mice and beautifully-dressed bears and rabbits.

If your Mum would prefer a bigger cuddle from her bear she will love Charlie Bears.  These bears are hand-made designs absolutely full of personality, but amazingly affordable.  The company is based in Cornwall, south of England and rapidly becoming world famous and more & more collectable as new bears are released and older ones ‘retired’.  They are known for their wobbly joints that mean they hug you back, endless different variations of fur colours and textures, and their individual faces – no two are exactly the same.

So, imagine the scene – perhaps you can’t be there on Mothering Sunday, but you have had a parcel specially sent and your Mum has been patiently waiting to open it up…she peels back the layers of tissue paper to find two sparkling eyes looking back at her.  A soft bear, wearing a ribbon in her very favourite colour emerges from the box and settles straight into her arms, bringing back memories not only of her younger days, but of you as a baby – before you became an awkward teenager, a long distance son or the busy Mother of her Grandchildren!
